The British Mark V tank (male version) was produced in 1918 at the end of the First World War. The tank was equipped with two 57mm cannons and five machine guns operated by a crew of eight. The Mark V traveled at a dizzying speed of 7.4 km/h and could cover a distance of 65 km on the road! These tanks took part in the clashes at Gomel, Amiens and on the Hindenburg line on the Western Front.
To this day the museum specimen from The Tank Museum in Bovington (Great Britain), numbered 9199, remains in operation. It was this specimen with documented combat history that served as the prototype for the COBI block model.
A carefully reproduced model of the MARK V (Male) tank, number 9199, consists of 837 COBI construction blocks and measures 29 cm in length. Thanks to the modeling scale of 1:35 the model fits COBI figures and other vehicles released in this scale. The tank is equipped with working track traction, rotating cannons and opening hatches
